There are several programs that are crucial for low-income children, families, and senior citizens that have been reduced or eliminated from the President Trump's proposed budget.
The list includes such things as LIHEAP, CSBG funded programs, Weatherization, and CDBG.
NIEER (National Institute for Early Education Research) has issues the "State(s) of Head Start" to describe and analyze in detail Head Start enrollment, funding, quality, and duration, state-by-state. The report focuses on the 2014-2015 program year but also provides longitudinal data beginning with the 2006-2007 program year.
