We asked the families to help celebrate Head Start's 50th by first sending home the newsletter explaining Head Start's 50th anniversary. We then asked families to help their child in collecting 50 items to bring in. Items included: Cheeseballs, macaroni noodles, gumballs, suckers, stickers, pens, pencils, craft with 50 playdoh dots, fruit snacks and corn kernels. The children shared about their item and we stood for a photo. They also were able to wear their jammies for the day.
We had a lot of fun!
